About Offline Bible

Offline Bible is a free Bible reader that keeps working when the connection drops. It is run by WellTracked.

The texts

The King James Version, World English Bible and American Standard Version come unchanged from the files published by eBible.org. We keep every verse as published, mark the words the translators supplied in italics, and show verse numbers a translation leaves empty with a note. Chapter pages, counts and plans are built from those files.

How it works

Every chapter is a plain web page. A service worker keeps the pages you open, and Save offline stores a whole translation in the browser so any chapter can be built on the device with no connection. There is no server-side account and no database of readers.

What it does not do

• No ads, no paid features, no affiliate links.
• No notes, commentary or doctrinal position: only the text.
• No uploading of bookmarks, plans or reading history.

Corrections

If a verse here differs from the eBible.org source file, the source file is the reference; we rebuild from it.
